Welcome to my website. I am a Lecturer (British English for Assistant Professor) of Economics at the University of Bristol.
My research agenda intersects themes in Economics of Innovation, Political Economy, and Economic History. I study how ideas, culture, and norms diffuse across and within countries, especially, although not exclusively, through migration. My research focuses on the US, the UK, and Italy between 1850 and 1940, a period called the "Age of Mass Migration."
